What’s the #1 Question on HEAT 9.5?

The #1 question we are getting from our clients about HEAT 9.5 and HEAT Self Service 9.5 is:

“Can you please help me understand the new features of HSS and Call Logging?”

SMA offers a “What’s New in HEAT 9.5 & HSS 9.5″ free webinar during which we explain and demo these enhancements. (Check out the next one.)

In the webinar we discuss and demo the HEAT 9.5 enhancements for Email , UI, and the HEAT Messaging Center.

We also show new or enhanced HEAT Self Service 9.5 features like Full Form Rule Support, Multiple Call Group Support, Journal Filtering, HEAT Board Subscriptions, and Executing AutoTasks.

Check out our website for more info on the enhancements and how SMA can help with the upgrades.

You may be wondering, what’s the #2 question about HEAT 9.5 and HSS 9.5? The second most popular question is:

“How do I know if HEAT 9.5 and HSS 9.5 are are compatible with our Operating System, Database platform?”

Luckily, FrontRange Solutions has developed a compatibility matrix.  If you have questions about the compatibility of your system, you can contact SMA (info@smasystems.com) and we can help you with that.

I agree with Jeff, having a web version of Alert monitor would be very useful. Many of our folks would utilize that.

Hi there, I work at a company that has HEAT 9.5 installed and I (as a random employee that uses the system) would like to utilize the web interface over the client.
Our admin has setup the web component however I seem to only have access to the Call Logging component using a URL like: http://root/HeatWebUI/calllogging/CallLogging.html

Honestly, as an end user I hate call logging. If I have a dozen tickets open I want to be able to see them all in one list and see the status and action dates associated with them – as Alert Monitor does.

Is there a URL to get into the alert monitor side of things?

    • John at SMA says:

Thank you for your feedback. The current version of the Web User Interface is for Call Logging. While Alert Monitor has not yet been made available through the web, we believe it is being considered for a future release. For now, you may want to consider configuring your Call Logging Dashboard to show your key Call Groups, and with 9.5, the dashboard will also show your assignment list at a glance. As far as Call Logging goes, you can also look at the grid view of your tickets if you prefer seeing a list.
